The Viking Guest House is a family owned bed and breakfast run by Christine and Tony. Located in a quiet street in Broadstairs only 200 yards from a large sandy beach. Our accommodation allows for a relaxing nights sleep whilst being within walking distance of all the shops, bars and restaurants of this pretty town. All of our rooms are kept clean and tidy and the price of your stay includes a hearty breakfast to start your day off well. We hope you will enjoy your stay with us.

How to Book With Us

You can book your stay with us online, by telephone or by knocking on our door and saying hello. When you book online with us you can be sure that your details are safe and secure. Our booking page uses 128 bit SSL technology to encrypt your details and keep them safe.

Booking Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions of booking are as follows:

The prices are inclusive of the cost of the room plus a cooked breakfast including cereals, fruit juices and yoghurts. Vegetarians are happily catered for.

To confirm your booking we require a deposit equal to the first nights accommodation.  This can be paid by either Cheque made payable to Viking Guest House or by Debit or Credit Card.  This should reach us within seven days of making your booking or prior to arrival which ever comes soonest.  We will confirm your booking by either letter or email and advise you of your outstanding balance which is due on departure.

The following forms of payment will be accepted.  These are Cash, cheque with Bankers Card, Credit and Debit Cards.  We do not accept American Express or Diners Club Cards.

Families and children are welcome but unfortunately we do not accept pets.

The Viking Guest House is a non-smoking establishment.

Cancellation Policy

Once you have booked your stay, you have entered into a Contract with us.  Any deposits paid are non-refundable.  Please contact us immediately should you wish to cancel your stay with us.  This should be in writing or by email.

Should Cancellation be made fourteen days or more, prior to the reservation, then the first nights booking will be due for payment.  Should a cancellation be made less than fourteen days prior to the reservation, then the full amount of the booking becomes due for payment.

In the event of the cancellation not being made, then the whole amount of the booking is due.

The money due under the above cancellation policy will be deducted from the debit or credit card supplied as deposit for the original booking, or the customer will be sent an invoice for the full amount due.

However, we will do our best to re-let your room/rooms.  If we are able to do this, then we will refund you the full amount paid less an administration fee of £30.00 per room.

Should cancellation be made by ourselves for unavoidable reasons, then we will refund any deposit paid.
